Getting started on our online courses

When you are registered as a participant on an online course, you will receive an email confirming your registration.

If it is the first time you have participated in one of our courses, you will also be sent an email confirming that a new account has been created on our learning management system and inviting you to set up password. You should do this before attempting to access the course. To log into our online learning systems, visit https://dse.litmos.com/ and enter your user name (by default, your email address) and your password:

When you log in, you will be presented with a list of the courses that you are enrolled on:

Click/tap on the title of the course that you wish to access. You will be presented with a list of the modules in the course – for example:

To access a module, click on the module title.

For presentations, you will be presented with a video player:

Click on the play icon to play.

For checklists, you will be presented with a PDF – you can print and/or download these for reference:

For assessments, you will be presented with the first question:

Provide an answer and click on Next Question to move on.

To exist the module viewer, click/tap Exit towards the top right.

To access handouts and other resources, follow the Additional References link from the course page:

Click on each resource you wish to view or download.

To access the discussion forum, follow the Discussion link. If you prefer to contact us directly, you can do so from within the module viewer by clicking Feedback. Alternatively, please email online-training@down-syndrome.org
